Cluster and Consonant Digraph Charts

Digraphs are two letters that make just one sound. Examples of two letters that make one sound is CH in the word “chair” and PH in the word “phone." Blends, on the other hand, are two or more consonants that blend together but each sound can still be heard. It can also be called consonant clusters. For instance, the words "tree" and "clock."

Here are list of words with digraphs and blend. '

Words that begin with CH: chat, chip, chop, cheer, chess, chance, change
Words that begin with CL: clan, clap, class, clean, clever, close
Words that begin with DR: draw, dress, drip, drop, drum, drink
Words that begin with SH: she, sharp, share, shine, shoot, shoes, shovel
Words that begin with SL: slack, sled, sled, sleep, slow, slide, slime, slope
