What is NDEP?
The NDEP stands for National Drug Education Program and  is a comprehensive educational program which provides for a holistic approach to the problem of drug abuse. It was designed to enable all sectors to work collaboratively, with the school system as the core, thereby, unifying all sectoral endeavors.

What is GAD?
Gender and Development is a systematic set of programs, activities and projects with clear objectives for addressing gender issues and appropriate strategies and activities with monitoring and evaluation indicators. It is an instrument to make all aspects of the agency and its work gender-responsive.

What is Anti-Bullying Act?
Republic Act 10627 or the Ant-Bullying act of 2013 is an act requiring all Elementary and Secondary Schools to adopt policies to prevent and address the acts of bullying in their respective institutions.

Elements of a Story

What are the Elements of a Story?

Elements of a Story include the following: 

1. Characters - the people, animals or things who act the story. These are the individuals the story is all about.
2. Setting - is the time and place where the story occurs 
3. Problem - is the struggle the main character is having with himself, another character or thing 
4. Solution- the way a problem is solved in the story

Rubrics for Teaching

What is a Rubric?

A rubric is a scoring tool that explicitly represents the performance expectations for an assignment or piece of work. A rubric divides the assigned work into component parts and provides clear descriptions of the characteristics of the work associated with each component, at varying levels of mastery. Rubrics can be used for a wide array of assignments: papers, projects, oral presentations, artistic performances, group projects, etc. Rubrics can be used as scoring or grading guides, to provide formative feedback to support and guide ongoing learning efforts, or both.
