What is a Collective Noun?
A collective noun is a word that refers to a set or group of people, animals or things.
Collective Nouns are sometimes called Group Nouns.
Collective nouns are often followed by OF + PLURAL NOUN.
Examples of Collective Nouns:
a flock of birds
a school of fish
a pack of wolves
a smack of jelly fish
a brood of hens
