ReplyDeleteHello! I am also a teacher and I came across this material. I must say that it is really good given that many examples were given per letter. However, I just find the "NG" Flashcard a bit off because it included a picture of a birth defect (cleft lip) and was labeled as "ngungo", I just feel like it will be discriminatory for those people who have that and it is inappropriate to teach kids with labels that can be degrading. Would appreciate if it will be removed from there since a bunch of good examples are already there.
ReplyDeleteI mean no offense in this comment, but as an educator, we should really be careful and mindful of the things that we are going to teach our students.
